Privacy policy

Maraithon is an operational tool for busy humans. We collect as little as possible to make it work, store it securely, and never sell it. This page describes exactly what we collect, why, and how to remove it.

Who we are

Maraithon is operated by ArgoNavis Inc., a Delaware corporation with offices in Toronto and San Francisco. Our registered address is 1111B S Governors Ave STE 3699, Dover, DE 19904, USA. You can reach us at support@maraithon.com for any privacy-related question or request.

What we collect

We collect three categories of data:

  1. Account data. Your email address, used to sign you in via magic link and to contact you about your account. We do not store passwords because Maraithon does not use them.
  2. Content you create. Work items, contacts, chat messages, and notes you add to Maraithon. These are owned by you and stored so the app can show them back to you on any device.
  3. Connected data. When you connect an app (Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Linear, Notion, GitHub, etc.), Maraithon reads the data needed to power your agents. We store connection access encrypted at rest, and we cache only the data required to surface what needs your attention.

What we do not collect

  • We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
  • We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.
  • We do not track you across other websites or apps.
  • We do not run third-party advertising or marketing analytics on you.

How we use it

We use what we collect only to:

  • Authenticate you and keep your session live.
  • Run the agents you create and send you the results.
  • Send transactional email about your account (sign-in links, security alerts).
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the service.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Where it lives

Account and content data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Fly.io in the Toronto (YYZ) region. We use the following sub-processors:

  • Fly.io — application hosting and database.
  • OpenAI — large language model inference for agent reasoning.
  • Postmark — transactional email delivery (sign-in links).
  • Sentry — error monitoring (no personal content is logged).

Each sub-processor has contractual obligations to protect your data and is bound by their own privacy policies. Connected apps (Google, Slack, Linear, etc.) operate under their own terms; Maraithon only requests the permissions needed for the agents you set up.

How long we keep it

We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete account data, content, and connected-app access within 30 days. Anonymous aggregate logs may be retained longer for service reliability.

Your rights

No matter where you live, you can:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct any data that is inaccurate or out of date.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Disconnect any connected app at any time, which revokes Maraithon’s access.
  • Withdraw consent to processing at any time.

Email support@maraithon.com and we’ll act on it within 30 days.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in either the iOS app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or by emailing support@maraithon.com from the address on file. Deletion is permanent and removes your work items, contacts, chat history, connected-app access, and account record from our production database. Backups roll forward and are purged within 30 days.

Children

Maraithon is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Connected-app access is encrypted at the application layer with rotating keys. We follow standard secure-development practices and run automated dependency audits. Security incidents that affect you will be disclosed without undue delay.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll notify you by email and update the “Last updated” date above before the changes take effect.
